We will always put pet welfare first in accordance with our De-Matting Policy. As a result, we may have to shave your pet short, in order to remove the matting and make your pet more comfortable. 

You will be required to sign a shaving agreement form on your first visit. By signing this agreement you understand the following; 

• We may have to shave your pet very short, even close to the skin, to remove the matting which is causing your pet discomfort 
• There will be an extra charge for de-matting, in accordance with our De- Matting Policy 
• You may not achieve the look and groom you anticipated in this appointment - welfare is our main concern. As a groomer, I cannot be held responsible for not achieving the desired result on this occasion. 
• Failure to maintain regular brushing and grooming between appointments will result in further matting.

As a Groomer we will:
Save as much hair as possible, while ultimately keeping pet welfare and comfort in mind at all times 
Aim to achieve the look you expected, but this may not be possible 
Will not cause unnecessary stress to your pet throughout the de-matting process 
Be honest in the extra length of time it took to De-Matt your pet in regards to the extra charges
